Lee Benson, the founder and CEO of Execute to Win (ETW), is one of the world’s most influential thinkers on achieving extraordinary results through organizational alignment, decision making and accountability. Over his 40 years as a successful entrepreneur, Lee developed his powerful yet practical approach called the most important number and drivers or MIND MethodologyTM. Now, Lee and his team at ETW help organizations worldwide work better together to improve what is most important.
Lee started his leadership journey when he became the first employee in a small specialty electroplating services company. After the company lost virtually all of its business overnight, he purchased it. With only two employees, Lee immediately set out to build his vision to grow into Able Aerospace, a company with 500 employees and 2,000 customers in 60 countries. Able is known in the aerospace industry as having the best culture, innovation, and ability to execute effectively in a highly complex and regulated environment. In 2016, Textron Aviation, Inc., a Textron, Inc. company, acquired Able Aerospace.
Lee is extensively quoted and interviewed as an expert on leadership, execution, and strategy in numerous arenas, including accredited MBA courses, CNBC, and various publications. Lee is also a sought-after keynote speaker, sharing the stage with prominent business leaders like Jack Welch and Blake Irving. His innovative, common-sense approach has helped thousands of employees in hundreds of public and private organizations do the right work in the right order at the right time to achieve their most important number.
Lee is an avid guitarist, practices tae kwon do, and enjoys vigorous outdoor activities. He sits on several philanthropic boards. Lee also works with high school and college students, introducing basic tenets of entrepreneurship and leadership. He and his family reside in Phoenix.
