PHX Startup Week began in 2014 and quickly became Arizona’s largest entrepreneurial event. The week is packed with informative, inspirational speaker sessions and limitless networking opportunities for startup founders, teams, investors, and supporters.

Our goal is to collaboratively accelerate Phoenix’s diverse entrepreneurial hub and ensure all innovation and ideas thrive by bringing voices from all corners of the metro together to connect, learn, accelerate and empower.

Irina Ilyinsky is a co-founder of ListenUp, a tech startup connecting people through audio experiences and promoting life away from screens. With a MIS degree and experience in business strategy, software implementation, corporate sales, and real estate, she is a versatile business strategist.

Irina is also fluent in Russian and has owned a local cafe. She is a formidable collaborator and community leader, and always eager to share her knowledge and mentor others. Above all, she prioritizes being a devoted mother and wife.

Born in Ukraine 🇺🇦 and raised in NY, Igor Ilyinsky has been programming since a young age. Since then, through his entrepreneurial spirit, he has built numerous companies of varying success.

His latest venture, ListenUp is aimed at making the world smarter and more tolerant through storytelling. He is also a self taught musician, an inventor, and a dedicated father.

Stephen is an angel investor in over 50 startups and founder of Exit Capital, an early stage investment firm. He’s launched bitcoin educational events across the country and previously served on the board of Code to Inspire, a non-profit focused on women’s education in Afghanistan.

Prior to Venture, Stephen spent 10 years leading engineering teams in Silicon Valley.

Adam, now barely 20 years old, helped build Town Pharmacy — one of New York City’s best independent pharmacies — and founded the herbal supplement brand, ReviverBlasts, at age 16, before he was even out of high school.

Currently, Adam is focused on building Sinatra, An Ecosystem For Hospitality. He is also playing a pivotal role in turning Arizona into a tech hub as the founder of JamPad, a thriving startup community that provides resources and support to early-stage companies. Adam is a member of 1517, a prestigious group spun out of the Thiel Fellowship, which is dedicated to
empowering young entrepreneurs to create and innovate.

Kristy Siefkin is the Founder and Principal of Kristy Siefkin Communications. As an Executive Communications Coach, she teaches senior executives to leverage psychology, emotional intelligence and the secrets of the world’s greatest communicators to build their brands as thought leaders every time they speak.

Kristy spent nearly 20 years as a national media spokesperson and Emmy-recognized News Anchor, broadcasting on networks like NBC, CBS, Fox, Animal Planet and Discovery. Using her GoTo SpeakerTM Methodology, she’s trained over 700 leaders to craft compelling messages and deliver them with confidence and impact, whether on a TEDx stage, in the boardroom, or in front of a video camera or podcast microphone. Organizations like CBRE, ThermoFisher, Zion Bancorporation, Goodwill, Phoenix Children’s Hospital and HP have entrusted Kristy with training their talent.

Kristy is also a sought-after professional speaker and event emcee, taking the stage for organizations like Society for Human Resource Management, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, The Business Journals, The Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation, SPCA, Healthcare Financial Management Association, and Organization for Nonprofit Executives.

A proud Duke Blue Devil, Kristy holds a Bachelors in Psychology and Masters in Multimedia Journalism. When she’s not training, coaching or speaking, you’ll find her road-tripping with her feisty Norwich Terrier, “Poppy Monsoon.”
